"INTIZAR is an enjoyable journey into the world of Middle Eastern music. The instrumental pieces presented here cover a variety of musical styles ranging from the inspirational and mellow style of Turkish and Persian music (Liqa), to the rhythmic style of belly dance music (Inwan) or Gulf music (Waha), to the intricately structured style of Andalusi music (Intizar). What distinguishes this CD from most instrumental CD's is Naji's ability to use the full potential of traditional instruments to create a new sound reminiscent of the works of Ziad Rahbani and Marcel Khalife".
